3. Be careful that water or other con-
tamination does not enter the master
cylinder when refilling. Water will
significantly lower the boiling point and
may result in vapor lock.
4. Brake fluid may erode painted surfaces
or plastic parts. Always clean up spilled
fluid immediately.
5. Because brake fluid is water absorbent,
it should be changed at least once a
year, by a Yamaha dealer.
6. Have a Yamaha dealer check if the brake
fluid level goes down faster than normal.
