m WARNING
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use com-
mon sense when operating a power tool. Do not use
a power tool while you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inatten-
tion while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
Avoid misuse, use the machine only as described un-
der "Intended use".
The operating manual contains important notices on
how to work safely and professionally with the chain-
saw and how to avoid hazards.
If a blockage still occurs between the material to be
cut and the saw chain, switch it off immediately. Wait
until the saw chain has come to a standstill. Remove
the spark plug connector and put on cut-resistant
gloves to remove the blockage. If the guide rail (saw
bar) has to be removed, follow the instructions as de-
scribed in the chapter "Installation". After removing
the blockage and re-installation, a test run must be
carried out.
If vibrations or mechanical noises are detected dur-
ing this process, stop work and contact an authorised
service centre. Should this hazard occur more often,
we recommend a new training.
