i) The dual rate function

• The dual rate function lets you reduce the steering deflection on
demand.
This function is absolutely recommended when the model show
extreme steering deflections and therefore tends to oversteer.
• The linear coupling between control transmitter and servo path
remains unchanged (see ill. 43). The dual rate function has an effect
on both sides of the steering deflection.
• By defa8ult, the dual rate function can be operated with the digital
button „DT 3".
However, if the button is assigned to another function, you can also
set the dual rate function in the function menu.
Setting the dual rate function for steering
• Switch on the transmitter. On the transmitter's LC display the operating display
will appear.
• Press the SEL button (see ill. 1, pos. 3) eight times to access the menu for
setting the dual rate function.
• Next to the menu display „D/R-ST", the display also shows the default or the
last set value for the dual rate function.
• With the plus and minus buttons (see illustration 1, pos. 4) you can now set
the desired value for the dual rate function between 0% and 100%.
• The smaller the set value, the lower the steering deflection.
