c) Dual rate function
Use the dual rate function to limit the servo path for the steering servo; it increases or reduces the steering angle of
the front wheels. This setting affects both sides of the servo path at the same time.
Proceed as follows:
• Switch on the transmitter. Wait until the display of the battery/rechargeable battery voltage appears and the trans-
mitter is ready for operation.
• Keep the two buttons " " and " " pushed at the same time for one second
so that the setting menu is called. The upper left display shows "
The basic setting for the dual rate function is, e.g., 100%.
• Change the setting with the buttons "-" or "+" in the range from 0% to 120%
(keep the corresponding button pushed for quick adjustment).
Observe:
At a setting of 0%, the steering servo will no longer move; at a setting of 120%, the servo may run on block
(overload of the servo gear possible; also increased power intake and resulting overload of the electronics
possible).
We recommend leaving the basic settings (e.g. 100%) since they have been chosen optimally for the
Crawler vehicle.
