Connecting to Network Locations
When HyperDeck Shuttle disk recorders are connected to your network via Ethernet, you can
use network locations for recording and playback. For example, recording clips to Blackmagic
Cloud Store. Once your HyperDeck Shuttle and network location are on the same network, you
can add the network location to HyperDeck Shuttle. It's worth noting that the optional record
cache can be used when recording to network location to prevent the recording ending in the
event of a network outage or dropout.
To add a network location:
1
Tap on the storage icons in the lower toolbar on the HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro to open the
storage display.
2
Tap the 'network' button on the lower right hand corner of the display.
3
Servers on your network will appear in the list view. If you can find your preferred server,
tap the name to highlight it and tap the 'connect' button. When prompted enter your
username and password or tap 'connect as guest' if your storage does not require
credentials.
