Connect the negative/black or blue (-) cable to an engine mounting bolt or other good engine
ground connection.

Connect the positive (+) cable to the positive (+) terminal.
Connect the negative (-) cable to the negative (-) terminal.

Coat terminals and cable ends with copper or special electric terminal grease.
3.3.
Device use
3.3.1 Startup
•
Set the fuel valve - distributor icon - to the open position ("ON" - see the signature pictogram on
the air filter housing) so that fuel can flow from the tank to the carburetor to start the engine.
Only when the engine is cold: activate the choke, i.e. set the manual suction lever to the closed
•
position ("CHOKE") - see the universal icon.
•
Set the throttle lever - engine speed control - to approx. 1/2 scale in the direction of fast rotation.
NOTE: the rabbit icon symbolizes fast rotation and the turtle is for slow speeds, so by moving the
lever towards the appropriate icon, you increase or decrease the engine speed.
