Service covers
After the engine hood has been
opened, the service covers (70) may
be removed as follows:
– Tilt the top part of the cover plate
away from the forklift and lift the
service cover away from the forklift.
– Fit the shoulders of the service
covers back in the cab/load guard.
– Push the top part of the service
cover in the direction of the forklift
until it latches.

Steel cab
On forklifts that are equipped with a
steel cab, both doors can be locked.
– To unlock the cab door, turn the key
counterclockwise.
– To lock the cab door, turn the key
clockwise.
– To open the cab door, unlock the
door and pull out the handle (71) or
(540s--550s) push in the push
button (72).
