NOTICE
Due to the hydrostatic steering
system, the steering force to be
exerted is very low; therefore,
turn the steering wheel slowly.

Brakes
Service brake
The parking brake acts via a hydraulic
system on the brake disks of the
multidisk brake. This system is fail-safe
because, in the event of a loss of
pressure,
the
automatically set.
If there is a reduction of the traveling
speed via the drive pedal (22), the
hydrostatic oil flow is increasingly
restricted and the forklift is braked.
An additional braking can be produced
by depressing the brake/slow speed
pedal (30). In the last part of the
movement of the brake/slow speed
pedal, the parking brake is set.
Parking brake
The parking brake switch secures the
self-activating multidisk brake in the
braked position.
To engage the parking brake, move the
switch (31) forward to position I.
To release the parking brake, move the
switch (31) forward to position O.
NOTICE
Always engage the parking
brake and shut off the engine
before leaving the forklift.
If the parking brake is not set, an
acoustic warning signal sounds.
Qw W
The parking brake holds the truck with the maximum permissible load, on a
clean concrete surface, at a 15% slope.
