Adjusting the backrest:
– Pull up the locking lever (59) and adjust the tilt of the backrest (44).
– Release the locking lever (59); the backrest is locked in place.
Adjusting the seat position:
– Pull the locking lever (57) of the driver seat lock upward in the direction of the arrow,
and adjust the driver seat to the desired position by sliding it forward or backward.
– Let the locking lever (57) latch back in place.

The driver seat locking lever must be securely latched in the selected
position. Do not modify the driver seat setting while driving!
NOTICE The seat belt must be secured before the forklift is started. For further
information, please see Paragraph 5.7.
NOTICE The driver seat adjustment refers to the standard version. For other models,
the adjustment procedure of the respective manufacturer is to be used. When
adjusting the seat, please make sure that all controls can be reached easily.
NOTICE It is absolutely critical that the correct weight is set, because this reduces the
magnitude of the shaking to which the driver's body is subjected. Some
forklifts might be equipped with a deadman switch, i.e. the forklift only starts
if the driver is in the seat.
