12.14 Switch gears and control potentiometer

The switchboard and regulating potentiometer must be installed and calibrated by
authorized employees. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to faulty, and in
extreme cases dangerous, operation of the vehicle.

Exhaust system

The exhaust system must be checked for emissions at routine intervals. Black or blue
exhaust smoke indicates increased emissions and requires consulting a technician.
13.1 Restarting the vehicle after cleaning or
maintenance
The vehicle must not be restarted after cleaning or maintenance work until the
following procedures have been completed:
– Check the horn function.
– Check that the MASTER SWITCH and EMERGENCY STOP switch are working
correctly.
– Check that the brake is working correctly.
– Lubricate the vehicle as shown in the lubrication chart.
