Shutting down engine DFG
– Switch ignition/starter switch (26)
into position "0".
– Remove key from the ignition/starter
switch (26).
Shutting down engine TFG
– Firmly close stop valve (63) of the
fuel gas.
– Wait until the engine comes to a
standstill.
– Switch ignition/starter switch (26)
into position "0".
– Remove key from the ignition/starter
switch (26).

Engine cover and service covers

Engine cover
NOTICE Before opening the engine
housing, the steering column
must be pushed all the way
forward and the seat pushed
all the way back on its rollers.
– To open the engine cover, insert a
suitable tool (68) through the access
hole and press on the locking device
of the engine cover (69).
– Lift the engine cover all the way up.
A gas strut firmly holds the engine
cover in the raised position.
IMPORTANT If a forklift is equipped with a
steel cab, both cab doors must
be opened before the engine
cover is raised.
IMPORTANT Make sure that the engine
cover
before operating the forklift.

illustrated without protective plates.
