Measures required during the shutdown period

Every two months:
– Charge the battery starter.

Restarting the vehicle after shutdown

– Clean the truck thoroughly.
– Lubricate the industrial truck according to the lubrication plan
(see Section "Lubrication plan").
– Clean the battery starter. Grease the pole screws with pole grease and reconnect
the battery starter.
– Charge the battery starter.
– Check whether there is condensation water in the transmission oil and replace it if
necessary.
– Check whether there is condensation water in the hydraulic oil and replace it if
necessary.
– Start the industrial truck (see "Starting the vehicle" in Chapter E).

Test the brakes several times immediately after starting up the vehicle.
