Troubleshooting

This section is designed to help users to identify and rectify minor faults or
malfunctions, or the effects of operating errors. When trying to locate malfunctions,
proceed in the order shown in the table.
NOTICE If the remedial actions listed above did not help to rectify the malfunction,
please contact the manufacturer's service organization since further
malfunction correction can only be carried out by qualified service personnel.

Shift direction of travel lever into neutral position
Check battery charge, recharge battery if
required
Clean and lubricate pole terminals, tighten
battery starter cable
Check battery charge, recharge battery if
required
Check whether magnetic switch audibly shifts
Clean or change air filter
Check Bowden cable
Open stop valve
Replace gas cylinder
Dry ignition distributor cap, spray with contact
spray if necessary
Dry, clean, tighten spark plugs
Change spark plugs
Fill tank with diesel fuel and bleed air from
injection system
Drain fuel system, fill vehicle tank, bleed air from
fuel system
Check fuel flow, change fuel filter if necessary
Park vehicle in a warm place and wait until the
paraffin clouding has subsided, change fuel filter
and fuel with winterized diesel if necessary
