Handling by crane

IMPORTANT Use only lifting gear with an adequate load capacity (for vehicle weight see
"Nameplate, vehicle" in Chapter D).
– Switch off and secure the vehicle (see section "Switching off and securing the
vehicle" in Chapter E).
– Attach the crane harness to the crossbeam of the mast (1) and the trailer coupling
(2).
IMPORTANT Suspend crane belts or chains only from the upper ring of the counterweight
and the rings of the upper load bar (mast). The mast must be completely tilted
back. The crane belt or chain on the mast must have a free minimum length
of 6.56 ft / 2 m.
IMPORTANT Attachment mechanisms on the crane harness must be attached so that they
do not touch any attachments or the overhead guard during the lifting
procedure.

Securing the vehicle during transport

For transport on a freight truck or trailer, the vehicle must be properly wedged
and clamped. The freight truck or trailer must have clamping rings and a
wooden floor.
IMPORTANT Loading must be performed by specially trained specialist personnel. The
specialist personnel must be trained in securing loads on road vehicles and
in working with load-securing aids. The correct sizing and conversion of load-
securing arrangements must be determined in every case.
Use the rings on the upper load bar of the mast and the trailer bolts to secure the
device with the attached mast .
If the device is transported without mast, clamping occurs on the front above the
overhead guard.
