to the device, the valves, the safety devices and the hob. If this happens, do not
continue to use the pressure cooker as the functionality of the safety devices can no
longer be guaranteed. Have your pressure cooker checked by Fissler customer service.
• Minimum fill volume: 200-300 ml of water depending on the diameter of your device
(see min. marking). In case of overheating, plastic parts on the pot or the aluminum
core in the base may melt and liquefy. Should this occur, switch off the hob and do not
move the pan until it has cooled down completely. Air out the room.
• Never fill the pressure cooker to more than ⅔ of its capacity (see max. marking). For
foods that foam or expand during cooking (such as rice, broths or dried vegetables), fill
the pressure cooker to no more than half its capacity (see ½ marking).
• For beans and other pulses, fill the pressure cooker no higher than the ⅓ marking, as
their thin skin can easily rise and clog the valves.
• Move the pressure cooker very carefully when it is under pressure and do not touch hot
surfaces. Use the handles and controls to do this. If necessary, use hand protection.

Opening the pot

• Never open the pressure cooker using force. Do not open it until you are sure that the
internal pressure has been completely released. Information on this can be found in
chapter 7.
• Always shake the pressure cooker before opening it so that no steam bubbles spray
out and you do not get scalded. This is particularly important when using the steam
quick release or after cooling under running water.
• Always keep your hands, head and body out of the danger zone when letting out steam
to avoid being injured by the escaping steam. This particularly applies when using the
control button for quickly releasing the steam.
WARNING!
Do not use the pressure cooker if it or any part of it is damaged or deformed or if
it is not functioning as described in these user instructions. If this occurs, please
contact the nearest Fissler specialist shop or the customer service of Fissler
GmbH.
