Patient notes
Patient Notes hold valuable information about a patient's therapy including data transfers, events, and observations. All notes appear on therapy reports
and contain the date and source of entry. Patient Notes are added automatically by the management system (System Notes) and can be added manually
by the clinician/provider (User Notes). System Notes cannot be edited or deleted.
System notes are entered when one of the following actions occurs:
• Successful data transfers are noted with one of the following:
• First data received for study.
• SmartLink data card has been programmed with updated settings. Verification of settings is pending.
• Settings update occurred on <date of transfer to CPAP> and validated on <download date>.
• New data has been uploaded.
• Errors in data transfer are noted with one of the following:
• Download contains one or more faulty records.
• Errors in data import. Some data may have been lost.
• Device assignments and un-assignments are noted with:
• Device <serial number> was assigned to patient.
• Device <serial number> was un-assigned from patient.
user notes are entered for information gathered during home visits or office calls. to create, edit or delete user notes:
1. Select the appropriate table in the 'Patients' menu.
2. Find the chosen patient in the table and select 'Update Patient Notes' in the Options menu.
3. Add, edit or delete notes:
• To ADD a note: click the [Add Patient Note] button, enter the note in the text box and click SAVE. This note will appear in the table and in
patient reports.
