INSTALLING THE SHEAVE DRUM

1. Install:
• Sheave drum
NOTE:
• Position the inner end of the spiral
spring on the retainer post
sheave drum.
• Check through the hole on the retainer
post that the spiral spring inner end is
engaged.
2. Install:
• Drive plate
• Drive pawl string
• Starter rope
Install steps
(1) Mount the drive pawl spring
the drive plate
(2) Insert the drive pawl spring
the hole of pawl spring, and attach
them on the sheave drum.
(3) Attach the starter rope on the starter
handle.
3. Set:
• Spiral spring
NOTE:
Wind the spiral spring three turns counter-
clockwise with the starter rope.
