ANAGEMENT
The BCM receives the following signals via CAN C1:
Gear selector position (automatic transmission);
Reverse gear status (manual transmission);
Vehicle speed information;
Steering angle sensor information;
When reverse gear is engaged, in the absence of errors, the reverse gear status changes from "OFF"
to "ON" and the BCM sends the following messages to the RVC rear view camera via the LIN network:
 Vehicle speed;
 Steering angle sensor value;
 Reverse gear status (manual transmission);
 Gear selector position (automatic transmission);
 Dynamic grids request
and the following messages via CAN BH to the RADIO module (LTM):
 Vehicle speed;
 Reverse gear status (manual transmission);
 Gear selector status (automatic transmission)
 Dynamic grids request
The rear view camera is activated: thanks to a CMOS sensor it captures the image in the area behind
the vehicle, internally adjusts the exposure (for correct reading by the driver) and overwrites the
dynamic grids according to the steering angle sensor signal sent via LIN by the Body Computer.
The overwritten image is then sent by the rear view camera to the Radio module with an NTSC type
output signal. The positive and negative of the signal are twisted and screened to avoid disturbances
to the signal.
The Radio module also receives via CAN BH the signal of the status of the boot lid, to avoid activating
the rear view camera by mistake when the boot is "OPEN".
