NOTE:
SEVERE DANGER! The front airbag module MUST be deactivated if a child seat is fitted to

the front passenger seat.
THE MODULE CAN BE DEACTIVATED USING THE DASHBOARD SETUP FUNCTION.

If the car is equipped with side bags, when the passenger-side front airbag module is

deactivated, the side bags are also deactivated.

COMPOSITION

With reference to the full version, the system comprises the devices listed below.
Full trim level:

an electronic control unit;

two front driver and passenger airbags with single stage activation;
o
two double electronic pretensioners located in the front seat belt reels and on the
o
buckle fixed to the floor panel respectively.
Two Side Bags for the front seats;

two window bags for lateral occupant protection;
o
two side impact sensors located in the side pillars;
o
The system also provides the following to indicate the efficiency status:
system failure warning light (red) in the instrument panel;

passenger airbag disabled warning light in the dashboard;

belt unfastened warning light in the instrument panel;

 connection via C-CAN with the diagnosis socket for function checks using diagnosis
equipment.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT - ORC

The control unit is the central occupant protection processing unit and is fixed rigidly to the car's floor
panel near the central tunnel.
It manages all the containment system detection and activation devices by processing signals from the
various sensors distributed throughout the car plus the internal sensors.
