charger for further details on use and on the LED indicators.

6.5.3 Charging the battery

To charge the batteries, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the control of the power wheelchair.
2. Open the hinged flap of the charging receptacle; the
charging receptacle is integrated in the left or right lat-
eral covering (see fig. 27).
3. Connect the plug of the battery charger to the charging
receptacle on the power wheelchair.
4. Connect the battery charger to a wall socket and turn it
on. Charging will start automatically. The current charge
status is indicated on the LEDs of the battery charger.
5. When the charging process is complete, turn off the bat-
tery charger as follows: First disconnect the battery
charger from the mains supply. Then disconnect the bat-
tery charger from the power wheelchair.
6. Close the hinged flap of the charging receptacle to pro-
tect the receptacle against moisture.
7. Turn on the controls. The power wheelchair is ready for
driving.

tional electric seat functions.

6.6.1 Safety instructions

WARNING
Risk of falling while driving with electric seat options.

seat tilt lowered and with a vertical backrest.
