Safety instructions
Whenever possible, avoid parking the wheelchair out-
doors and in direct sunlight (UV light), as it causes the
tyres to age prematurely. As a result, the tread surface
hardens and corner pieces break out of the tread.
Ottobock re-commends to replace the tyres every 2 years
regardless of wear and tear.
When the wheelchair is not used for extended periods of
time or if the tyres are heated strongly (e. g. near radiators
or by sunlight shining through a window), permanent de-
formation of the tyres will result. Therefore always make
sure that the wheelchair has sufficient distance from
sources of heat, move your wheelchair from time to time or
jack up the wheelchair when storing it.
CAUTION
Risk of accident due to improper clothing. Ottobock
advises users to wear light-coloured clothing or clothing
with reflectors during hours of darkness.
NOTICE
Damage due to improper use of the stand-up function.
The power wheelchair is equipped with a stand-up device.
The following particularities must be observed during op-
eration:

„ The seat function actuators are not intended for continu-
ous use, but only for short-term limited operation (10 %
use, 90 % idle time). General recommendation: At
maximum load, 10 seconds of operation should be fol-
lowed by 90 seconds of idle time. In this regard, the
electric seat functions are considered independently of
the driving function.
„ The seat with stand-up device may only be subjected
to a maximum load of 136 kg.
„ The stand-up device may not be operated in case of
errors or malfunctions.
„ If creep speed is not activated when the stand-up de-
vice is operated, please visit a specialist dealer imme-
diately. The power wheelchair may only be used with
the stand-up device in its lowest position until the fault
is repaired.
NOTICE
Damage due to excessive heat or cold. The power
wheelchair may only be operated in the temperature range
from -15 °C to +40 °C. It must not be operated at tem-
peratures outside this range.
