Delivery and preparation for use

4.1

Delivery

All later adaptation or setting work may only be carried out
by authorised specialist dealers.
INFORMATION
The options included in the delivery depend on the product
configuration that has been selected for the power wheel-
chair.
INFORMATION
The standard version of the power wheelchair without
lighting features a cover on the battery drawer, which can
easily be removed after opening the safety belt. If the
power wheelchair was ordered with lighting, there is no
cover on the battery drawer. Instead, there is a cover un-
derneath the seat, which is screwed to the frame. The
battery drawer with lighting is pulled out to the rear and
has no cover on top.

Scope of delivery includes:
„ Preset power wheelchair with main components (see
fig. 2)
„ Battery charger
„ Instructions for use
„ Optional seat functions (see section 6.6)
Upon delivery by the specialist dealer the power wheelchair
is ready for use. All the settings correspond to the indica-
tions on the order form or are adjusted directly on site by the
dealer. The power wheelchair is adapted to the personal
requirements of the individual.
The functions of the individual components can be tested by
following the instructions in section 7. Possible malfunctions
are described in section 8.
