CAUTION
Risk of injury during tasks that involve lifting. The weight
of the battery is approximately 20 kg. Use hoisting devices
of sufficient capacity to remove or install the batteries or
carry out these tasks with the aid of an assistant.
NOTICE
Risk of battery damage due to falling. Hoisting devices
used for transportation must have a sufficient capacity.
Secure the battery against falling.
NOTICE
Risk of battery damage. Ensure correct polarity when
you connect the battery cables. The black cable must be
connected to the negative terminal and the red cable to
the positive terminal.
NOTICE
Risk of property damage due to improper maintenance
work on the batteries. All maintenance work may only be
completed by authorised personnel.
The standard version of the power wheelchair is equipped
with two maintenance-free gel batteries with a total capacity
of 63 Ah (C5).

The batteries are located under the seat of the power wheelchair.

6.5.1 Battery charging information

WARNING
Risk of injury due to explosive gases. Explosive gases can
develop while the batteries are charging. The following safety
instructions must be followed under all circumstances:
„ Ensure sufficient ventilation when charging the batter-
ies in closed rooms.
„ Smoking and fire are not permitted.
„ Sparks must be avoided.
„ Do not cover the air vents in the trim.
NOTICE
Battery damage due to deep discharge. Driving for long-
er periods with low battery charge level will result in deep
discharge and damage to the battery. There is a risk that
the power wheelchair may stop due to zero battery charge
level and bring the user into a dangerous situation.
