CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to unsecured screw connections.
When screw connections with thread locks are loosened,
they must be equipped with new ones or secured with a
medium-strength thread lock substance (e. g. Loctite® 241).
After any settings on the power wheelchair are established
or changed, the mounting screws and / or nuts must be
retightened securely. During tightening observe torques
when specified.
Various adjustments can be made to the power wheelchair.
The seat height, seat width as well as length and angle posi-
tion of the footplate have been set in accordance with the
indications on the customer order form and may only be
changed by the specialist dealer.
The following items can be adapted by the user:
Backrest height
Height and position of the armrests
Position of the supports
Seat cushion length

6.1.1 Backrest
Changing the backrest height setting
The position of the backrest can be adapted to the user
height. Depending on anatomic back compensation, the
backrest moves down when bringing it in the upright posi-
tion. In the standing position the back strap should be tight.
1. Loosen all 4 screw connections.
2. Move the backrest up or down in the slot holes.
3. Firmly re-tighten the screws after making adjustments
(see fig. 7).
