NOTICE
Damage to tyres due to excessive tyre pressure. Make
sure that the tyre pressure indicated in section 10 "Techni-
cal data" is not exceeded.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the drive unit sustainer. When lifting
or jacking up the power wheelchair, be careful not to me-
chanically damage the drive unit sustainer, e. g. with
scratches on the surface.
Apply the jack on the bottom side of the drive unit sus-
tainer.
INFORMATION
Direct sunlight (UV light) causes the tyres to age prema-
turely. As a result, the tread surface hardens and corner
pieces break out of the tread.
INFORMATION
Avoid parking the wheelchair outdoors whenever possible.
Regardless of wear and tear, replace the tyres every
2 years.

Maintenance, cleaning and disinfection
When the wheelchair is not used for extended periods of
time or if the tyres are heated strongly (e. g. near radiators
or by sunlight shining through a window), permanent de-
formation of the tyres will result. Therefore always make
sure that the wheelchair has sufficient distance from
sources of heat, move your wheelchair from time to time or
jack up the wheelchair when storing it.

9.3.1 Drive wheel replacement

Proceed as follows:
1. Lift the power wheelchair so that the wheel you want to
replace can rotate freely.
2. Loosen the four screws around the wheel hub.
3. Pull the drive wheel to the front off the wheel hub.
4. Put the new drive wheel onto the wheel hub.
5. Tighten all four screws with a torque wrench.
INFORMATION
When installing the wheel, tighten all four screws to a
torque of 25 Nm.
