5.2.1 Preparing for transportation

Before transporting the power wheelchair, switch off the
control and lock the brake.
The armrests can be swung up, the footplate be flipped up
and the backrest be folded down to the front for transporta-
tion.

Flipping up the footplate
Proceed as follows to flip up the footplate:
1. Pull the locking bolt.
2. Flip the footplate up.

Folding down the backrest
Proceed as follows to fold down the backrest:
1. Swing up the armrests.
2. Release the tension of the strap on the rear of the backrest.
3. Press the release knob and unhook it.
4. Pull out the cotter pin (double spring cotter).
