Operation
Now the brake release lever has been released and can be
pressed fully forwards and downwards.
In this position, the control unit will recognise that the brake
has been released and automatically deactivate the driving
function. As soon as the joystick is deflected, a warning will
appear on the LCD display.
INFORMATION
Once the brake release lever has been released, all brak-
ing systems are deactivated.
INFORMATION
The control can be turned off while the wheelchair is being
pushed.
Locking the brake
To activate the brake, push the brake release lever up until
the brake release bolt engages. To reactivate the driving
function, switch off the wheelchair controls and then switch
them on again.

Batteries

CAUTION
Using an incorrect battery type. The batteries and charg-
er constitute a harmonised system in order to guarantee
optimised charging characteristics. Using an incorrect
battery type can result in health hazards due to leaking
battery acid, permanent damage or destruction of the bat-
tery.
Battery replacement or changing the battery installation
location may only be completed by a specialist dealer.
Replacement batteries must always be of the same type
(Ah & V).
The characteristic curve of the battery charger established
at the factory corresponds to the battery included in the
scope of delivery and may not be altered independently.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to electric current. Always remove the
fuse before doing any work on the batteries.
