Getting into and out of the wheelchair can be done by the
user individually in a way that suits him or her best. Getting
into the wheelchair from the side requires the user to swing
the right or left armrest to the rear and pull out the supports,
depending on the side where the user will get into the wheel-
chair.

6.2.1 From/to the side

Bring the power wheelchair as close as possible to the place
where its user is sitting.
Swing the armrest to the rear. Pull out the supports.
The user can then slide onto the wheelchair's seat from the
side. Use of a transfer board will make this even easier.

6.2.2 From/to the front

Flipping up the footplate makes it possible for the user to
get into and out of the wheelchair from/to the front (see
section 5.1).
The assistance of an attendant or a transfer lifter make it
easy for the user to get into or out of the power wheelchair.
Use of a rotation plate is supported.
Because of the stand-up function, the footplate has been de-
signed to be able to bear loads of maximally 136 kg. It may

therefore also be used for getting into or out of the wheelchir.
The footplate is already adapted to the user's requirements.
6.3

Control unit

NOTICE
Risk of impairing the driving performance of the power
wheelchair. The driving characteristics of the power
wheelchair can be affected by electromagnetic fields
(mobile phones or other radiating devices). For this rea-
son, please switch off all mobile devices when driving.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to other devices. The power wheelchair
can generate electromagnetic fields that can cause inter-
ference with other devices. Switch off the controls when-
ever you do not need them.

6.3.1 Control panel

The control panel is used to control the power wheelchair.
The control panel consists of a keypad, LCD display and
joystick. The programming receptacle and two inputs for
external push-buttons are located on the underside. The
