INFORMATION
When installing special controls/a push-button module,
the user is obliged to have a specialist dealer give him or
her detailed instructions on how to use them.

The mounting position of the stand-up device unit and/or
seat must not be modified.

Safety requirements for operation

WARNING
Risk of accidents and injury due to defective safety func-
tions. The user is obligated to ensure that the power wheel-
chair and its safety functions are in safe and proper condi-
tion before every use.
The power wheelchair may only be operated if all safety
functions, e. g. the automatic brakes, are functional.
Brake failure can result in serious accidents with fatal
injuries.

WARNING
Risk of accidents and injury due to incorrect configura-
tion settings. Modified parameter settings in the configu-
ration can lead to changes in driving characteristics. In
particular, changes to the speed, acceleration, braking or
joystick settings can lead to unexpected and therefore un-
controllable operating performance with a risk of acci-
dents. Always test the driving characteristics of the power
wheelchair after configuration / programming is complete.
Programming must only be completed by authorised per-
sonnel. Neither Ottobock nor the control unit manufacturer
are liable for damages (especially in combination with
special controls) caused by programming that was not
properly / professionally adapted to the abilities of the
wheelchair user.
WARNING
Risk of accidents and injury due to a lack of brake
functionality when the brake is disengaged. Note the
lack of brake functionality when the brake is disengaged,
especially when moving the power wheelchair on slopes.
