II.4.8

PA OPERATION: HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH

After the high pressure switch has been activated, it needs to be reset
manually by firmly pressing the black button on the pressure switch
itself. Then reset the alarm on the control board.
Trigger-point check: remove the fan protection fuses located inside
the electrical box, close the electrical box and restart the unit, wait for
the activation of the high pressure switch while observing the high
pressure gauges.
If during the test phase the pressure on the high pressure gauge will be
over 25 bar, switch off the unit immediately by pressing ON/OFF on the
control board and replace the component.
II.4.9

WORKING OF PB: LOW PRESSURE SWITCH

After the low pressure switch has been activated, reset the control
board alarm; the pressure switch is reset automatically, but only when
the increasing suction pressure reaches the set differential value.
Trigger-point check: during the normal working of the unit turn off
slowly the cock placed on the liquid line, till the pressure switch is
activated and check the low pressure gauges.

TABLE OF ALARMS

The display of the control panel shows the alarms which may be
present on the unit. After the cause has been identified and eliminated,
the alarm may be reset. (see para. I.3.10).

CALIBRATION OF SAFETY AND CONTROL
DEVICES
The units are factory tested, where they are also calibrated and the
default parameter settings are put in. These guarantee that the
appliances run correctly in rated working conditions. SAFETY
COMPONENT CALIBRATION SETTINGS
• Refer to the electrical wiring diagram supplied with the unit to
dimension the circuit of the electronic and electromechanical
components.

RECOMMENDED ACTION
Restore system water content.
Bleed air from the system.
Open the intercept valves.
See Troubleshooting: Point 1.
Check, clean if necessary.
Reset the high pressure switch. Press down completely the black
button on the device before resetting the alarm on the keyboard. If
the alarm persists, check and identify the cause of the problem
and refer to point 5 – troubleshooting (-).
The low pressure switch is reset automatically; reset the alarm on
the keyboard. If the alarm persists, check and identify the cause
of the problem and refer to point 4 – Troubleshooting (-).
Contact an authorised RHOSS service centre who will investigate
the cause of the overheating of the thermal protection and carry
out the appropriate maintenance operation.
Check calibration and reset.
Check, adjust if necessary.
Check system sizing, leakage and insulation.
Check, adjust if necessary.
Check, replace if necessary.
