UNIT CHARACTERISTICS AND OPERATING
LIMITS
I.1.1

INTENDED CONDITIONS OF USE

The TCCE units are packaged water chillers, air cooled with centrifugal
fans.
THCE units are packaged reversible heat pumps, evaporation/air
cooled with centrifugal fans.
They are intended for use in conditioning systems where a supply of
refrigerated water (TCCE) or refrigerated and heated water (THCE) is
required.
DANGER!
The unit is designed for outdoor installation.
Segregate the unit if installed in areas accessible to
persons under 14 years of age.
DANGER!
Do not introduce sharp objects through the air
delivery and intake grilles.
IMPORTANT!
The unit will function correctly only if the
instructions for use are scrupulously followed, if
the specified clearances are complied with during
installation and if the operating restrictions
indicated in this manual are strictly adhered to.
IMPORTANT!
Non-compliance with the recommended clearances
during installation will cause the unit to function
inefficiently with an increase in power consumption
and a considerable reduction in cooling (or heating)
power.

MACHINE IDENTIFICATION

The units feature a serial number plate located on the side which
includes machine identification data (Fig. 1).

I.1.3

FEATURES OF THE ELECTRICAL PANEL

The control board is designed and constructed in compliance with
European Standard EN 60204-1 (Safety of Machinery - Electrical
equipment fitted to machines - Part 1: General Rules) according to the
dictates of §1.5.1 of the Machine Directive.
Each unit is equipped with a type "b" (EN 60204-1 § 5.3.2) general
power isolator switch.
Only qualified personnel may access the electrical parts of the
appliance in compliance with IEC recommendations. It is particularly
important to disconnect all electrical power circuits and, therefore, the
general isolator switch before carrying out any work on the appliance.
