OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT

II.4.1
GENERAL FEATURES OF THE
MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL SYSTEM
II.4.1.1
Microprocessor electronic board
The electronic control basically involves two parts:
• A base unit called the INPUT/OUTPUT BOARD.
• Control unit, also called USER INTERFACE PANEL .
• Scheme of the system:

Digital inputs (unit protections and remote controls)
Analog inputs (temperature and pressure probes)
Analogue outputs (signal 0÷10 Vdc per KFI)
12 Vac power supply
Relay digital outputs (control of coils, valves and remote controls)
Connection to KCH (optional)
Machine-side/remote keyboard
II.4.1.2
Input/output board
○ The input/output board consists of:
• a section containing the microprocessor and the memories which
manage the unit control algorithm;
• a part interfacing the panel and the supervision network;
• a section dedicated to the inputs/outputs which allow interfacing with
devices controlled through a terminal board featuring removable
connectors.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP AND
ADJUSTMENT
The unit is adjusted according to the condenser/evaporator inlet water
temperature. The temperature is kept thermostatically within a preset
band. Once the set point and the water temperature control differential
have been selected, the controller manages the available compressors
in order to meet the thermal load required by the user.
