TRANSPORT, HANDLING AND STORAGE

DANGER!
The unit must be transported and handled by
skilled personnel trained to carry out this type of
work.
II.2.1

PACKAGING AND COMPONENTS

The units are supplied packed in shrink-wrap nylon.
The following components are supplied with the machine:
• user instructions;
• wiring diagram;
• list of authorised service centres;
• Warranty documents.
II.2.2

LIFTING AND HANDLING

DANGER!
Movement of the unit should be performed with
care, in order to avoid damage to the external
structure and to the internal mechanical and
electrical components.
Also make sure that there are no obstacles or
people blocking the route, to avoid the danger of
collision or crushing. Make sure that there is no
possibility of the lifting-gear overturning.
The unit is should be moved and/or lifted by the specially provided
lifting-points in the base framework.
The unit may be lifted by threading textile slings through the slots on the
base or using the forks of a suitable handling device.
Once the unit has been installed, remove the protective film from the
panels and the shrink-wrap nylon packaging.

Dispose of the packaging materials in compliance
with the national or local legislation in force in your
country.
DANGER!
Do not leave the packaging within reach of children.
II.2.3

STORAGE CONDITIONS

The unit is packed in shrink-wrap nylon which is sufficient to protect it
provided that it is stored in a sheltered place and not exposed to
frequent variations of temperature. If the unit has to be stored outdoors,
remove the shrink-wrap nylon to avoid condensation forming on the
inside. The protection film on the panels must also be removed if the
unit is to be exposed to sunlight.
II.3

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION OF UNIT

DANGER!
Installation may only be carried out by skilled
technicians, qualified to work with conditioning and
cooling products.
The unit must be installed according to national or
local rules in force at the time of installation.
DANGER!
The corners of the unit and the finned surface of the
banks may cause injury if the due care and
attention is not paid during installation.
