1 Protocol after successful Ci-basic adjustment
1. Make sure that you have the user rights for the calibration settings.
By default, the users Master and Service are authorised.

2. Make sure that the electronics of Ecolab 'Versatronic' have reached their operating
temperature. Find the board temperature under:

Make sure that the ambient temperature of the device complies with the conditions in
normal operation. Wait until the board temperature has reached an approximately
constant value.
3. Place the sensor so that the sensor body hangs freely in the air. (See Fig. 70.)
4. Place the wire of the calibration adapter with two windings through the opening of the
Ci sensor, without connecting the wire ends. (See Fig. 71.)
5. Start the Ci-basic adjustment

6. Enter the cell constant of the sensor (6.9) and confirm with "OK". (See.)
7. The device now performs a measurement with the calibration adapter's conductor
loop open. Wait for until the measurement display stabilises, then tap "OK".

8. Connect the wire ends of the calibration adapter loop. (See Fig. 74.)
9. Set the calibration adapter to 25 kΩ. When the gauge has stabilised, confirm with
"OK". (See Fig. 75.)
10. Now follow the instructions on the display. You are prompted through a series of
steps to set specific resistance values on the calibration and confirm each
measurement with "OK".

Observe the following rules during the entire setup:
– All objects are kept away from the sensor body
– The sensor body should not be touched
– the sensor body may not be on a surface
