Assembling the oval gear meter
Recalibration is recommended after cleaning and reinserting the oval gear
wheels.
Make sure that the oval gear wheels are seated correctly.
The oval gear wheels must be inserted so that they are offset to each other by
exactly 90º ( Fig. 20 , items

After cleaning/replacing the oval gear wheels, insert them so that they are offset to
each other by 90°
2.
Insert screws carefully and tighten diagonally with a torque of 1 Nm +

Replacing suction / pressure valves
1.
Remove suction and pressure valve using an open-end spanner (SW 27)
2.
Fit all O-rings.
3.
Screw in the new suction and pressure valves in the correct position (2–3 Nm).

NOTICE!
The oval gear wheel with the welded magnets
under the sensor in the cover.
The plates on this oval gear wheel must point downwards.
To check, gently turn one oval gear wheel with your finger. The other oval
gear wheel must move one complete rotation without locking up or losing
contact with the second oval gear.
NOTICE!
Be sure to observe the permissible torque as the counter thread in
the housing is made of plastic and can be damaged if too much force
is applied. This means that the oval gear meter can no longer be
guaranteed to be leak-proof.
