5.2.3 Block creation


In order to create the manufacturer error block, first a new function block must be
created with the name TR_Manufacturer_Error. To do this, go to Project
tree and in the directory tree select the entry CD_75_-EPN_PROFIsafe ->
PLC_1 [CPU 1511F-1 PN] -> Program blocks -> Add new block by
double-clicking with the left mouse button.

In the opened window select the Function block on the left-hand side. In the
example project, for Name: TR_Manufacturer_Error should be entered, for
Fail-safe: deselect the Create F-block checkbox and for Language:
FBD should be set. For Number: 170 must be manually entered in the example
project. As the block will be edited immediately after creation, the Add new and
open checkbox below Additional information must be ticked. The function
block is created and opened in the program editor by pressing the OK button.
