A safety edge provided by the operator can be connected to the
MultiControl II and is used to safeguard possible crushing and
shearing points.

The mains cable is disconnected from the voltage supply.

Disconnect the cable of the hand switch from the hand switch
interface HS.
Connect the cable of the hand switch to the hand switch
interface HS.
ð The hand switch with 6 function buttons is detected by
the control unit automatically and is ready for operation.
If multiple control units are operated synchro-
nously, only use the safety shut-off function on the
master control unit.

Connect the BUS cable (Fig. 22/1) to the DATA interface on
the control unit.
Connect the exposed wires of the BUS cable to the opera-
tor's safety edge between GND and sensor input 1 in accord-
ance with the following table:
