Operator obligations
20.08.2021
The operator is the person who operates the control unit personally
for commercial or economic purposes, or makes it available to a
third party for use/application and bears the legal product responsi-
bility for the protection of the user, staff or third parties during ope-
ration.
The control unit is used in the commercial sector. The operator is
therefore subject to the legal obligations relating to occupational
health and safety.
In addition to the safety information contained in these instructions,
the safety regulations, occupational health and safety regulations
and environmental protection regulations applicable to the area of
application of the control unit must also be adhered to.
The following particularly applies in this regard:
n
The operator must keep themselves informed of the applicable
occupational health and safety regulations and carry out a risk
assessment to determine any additional hazards which result
from the specific working conditions at the location of use of the
control unit. The results must be implemented in the form of
operating instructions.
n
Throughout the entire period of use of the control unit the oper-
ator must check whether the compiled operating instructions
match the current regulations. If necessary, the operating
instructions must be adapted.
n
The operator must clearly regulate and define the responsibili-
ties for assembly and installation, operation, troubleshooting,
maintenance and cleaning.
