n The mains cable is disconnected from the voltage supply.

Connecting the accessories > Connecting the drives
Before the control unit is connected to the voltage
supply with the mains cable, connect the drives,
the hand switch or other accessories to the control
unit.
Two drives can be connected for each control unit.
Only drives of the same version must be used for
all control units.
n Assembly staff
n Protective clothing
n Safety shoes
If only one drive is connected to the control
unit, the cable must always be connected to
drive slot M1. Otherwise, the drive will not be
detected by the control unit.
Connect the cable of the first drive (Fig. 19/1) to drive slot
M1.
If available, connect the cable of the second drive (Fig. 19/2)
to drive slot M2.
ð The drives have been connected.
If the 3 m long extension cable is used for the
drives, reduce the travel speed (parameter
11 Ä Page 208).
