5.11 Rear wheels (not illustrated)
The product has rear wheels with hollow rims.
5.12 Wheel lock / brake systems and accessories (Fig. 37)
5.12.1 Rear wheel with drum brake (not illustrated)
Allows the attendant to comfortably and safely brake the wheelchair. The rear wheels remain
detachable using the quick-release axle system.
5.12.2 Knee lever wheel lock for one-handed operation (Fig. 37)
Recommended especially for hemiplegics. It can be activated either on the right or left side and
ensures the safe locking of both rear wheels with a pull-wire system.
Please note that the folding wheel lock lever extension must always be attached when
INFORMATION
releasing or engaging the wheel lock.
5.12.4 Knee lever wheel lock for user and attendant (not illustrated)
The wheelchair can also be braked by the attendant. The rear wheels remain detachable using
the quick-release axle system.
5.12.5 Plug-on wheel lock lever extension (not illustrated)
Facilitates use of the knee lever wheel lock.
