Incorrect use of the e-support may lead to injury or damage to the wheelchair, depending on the condition of the road
surface or traffic. First, read "Guidelines for Safe Use" to assure full understanding.

(1) Check the remaining battery capacity, pressing the display switch to con-
firm the capacity on the display lamps. When the display switch is pressed, the
lamps light for several seconds.

• The remaining battery capacity is displayed in a 5-step display (when new).

• As the deterioration of the battery advances, some of the display lamps no
longer light, even though the charging has been completed (refer to page 26).
The travel distance also decreases.
(2) Check to see if the anti-tipper has been properly installed. (Refer to page 19,
Inspection and Adjustments.)

(3) Get in the wheelchair.

(4) Make sure that the power switch is turned off, and install the battery. Insert
the battery until it makes a "clicking" sound.

Do not drop or jolt the battery. This can cause malfunction.

· Do not put your hands or other objects in the battery insert inlet.
· Check that there are no foreign objects in the battery insert inlet. Remove any
objects before installing the battery.
· Do not deform or damage the contacting point.
(5) Sit tightly so you will not fall off the wheelchair.

Do not forget to wear a seat belt if you usually use it.
