Data security/Data cleaning

All navigation results generated by the OrthoPilot
in a file.
®
The OrthoPilot
4 panel PC has USB ports to manage the navigation doc-
umentation. The USB ports 24 are located on the side of the OrthoPilot
panel PC, attached behind a cover.
Note
Only USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 devices may be used.
Description
Enter hospital information.
Select language (English, German, Span-
ish)
Set time zone and summer or winter time.
Edit Mode: Changes to the tile size and
tile name can be made on the home
screen, see Chapter 7.3.
Note: Applications/application processes
cannot be started in the edit mode.
User Mode: Standard mode; Changes
cannot be made.
Manage volume settings:
Sound on/off
Playback volume
Information on Aesculap data protection
Display of patents and licenses
®
® application are stored
Insert USB storage medium into one of the two side USB ports 24.
Select the data protection symbol.
A selection window appears.

The following functions can be selected in the selection window:
Export data to the USB storage medium.
Delete data.
Select the function to export or delete the report.
"Export new Reports" exports the reports that have not yet been
exported.
Remove the USB storage medium.

Status display

The time, date and volume status (on/off) are displayed in this area. These
settings can be changed in the "Settings" view, see Chapter 7.5.

General safety information

Note
Adhere to national statutory regulations, national and international stan-
dards and directives, and local, clinical hygiene instructions for sterile pro-
cessing.
Note
For patients with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), suspected CJD or possi-
ble variants of CJD, observe the relevant national regulations concerning
the reprocessing of products.

Preparing for cleaning

Shut down device immediately after use.
Completely remove any visible surgical residues with a damp, lint-free
cloth.
