formed.
Commissioning (only necessary when connecting a new foot switch)

Switch on the OrthoPilot
the bottom to the "ON" position "I".
Note
The on/off switch is provided solely as a transport safeguard and can remain
in the ON "I" position after initial startup.

Select the "Footswitch" button.
►
Press the right and left pedal at the same time to activate the connec-
tion mode.
►
Select the search button in the dialog window.

A list of the OrthoPilot 4 footswitches found appears.
Note
If multiple devices are displayed, the foot control can be identified by the
serial number. The serial number is located on the type plate on the bottom
of the foot control.
®

Select the OrthoPilot 4 wireless footswitch with the right serial num-
ber.
A function test can be performed once connected.

Select the "Keyboard" dialog window and press the pedals in succes-
sion.
The activation of the pedals will be displayed accordingly.
®
The OrthoPilot 4 wireless footswitch is now ready to use and can be
placed under the operating table in the user's work area.
Note
The range of the radio connection between the OrthoPilot
®
switch and theOrthoPilot 4 panel PC unit is max. 5 m.
