WARNUNG: Allow the memory modules to cool after you power off the system. Handle the memory modules by the card
edges and avoid touching the components or metallic contacts on the memory module.
Schritte
1. Push the ejectors outward on both ends of the memory module socket to release the memory module from the socket.
2. Lift and remove the memory module from the system.
VORSICHT: Handle memory modules only by the card edges, ensuring not to touch the middle of the memory module
or metallic contacts.
ANMERKUNG: If you are removing the memory module permanently, install a memory module blank. The procedure
to install a memory module blank is similar to that of the memory module.

Installing a memory module

1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in

3. Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet, and disconnect the peripherals.
4. Ensure that all internal cables are routed correctly and connected, and no tools or extra parts are left inside the system.

module. Retain the removed memory module blank for future use.
Schritte
1. Open the ejectors on the memory module socket outward to allow the memory module to be inserted into the socket.
2. Align the edge connector of the memory module with the alignment key of the memory module socket, and insert the memory module
in the socket.
