Tap the element lightly t o remove most
of the dust and d i r t ; then b l o w o u t the
remaining
d i r t
w i t h
compressed
air
through the inner surface o f the element.
Be careful not t o get oil or water on the
filter paper If element is wet, excessively
d i r t y or damaged, replace.
5.
Reassemble by reversing
the removal
procedura. Check whether the element
is seated completely against the case.
Carburetor adjustment
The carburetor is a vital part of the engine
and requires very sophisticated adjustment.
Most adjusting should be left t o a Yamaha
dealer w h o has the professional knowledge
and experience t o do so.
