Spark plugs are produced in several different
thread lengths. T h e thread length (reach) is
the distance f r o m the spark plug gasket seat
t o t h e end o f t h e threaded p o r t i o n . If the
reach is t o o long, overheating and engine
damage may result. If the reach is t o o short,
spark plug f o u l i n g and poor Performance may
