4. Operate the carburetor starter jet
(chock) lever and completely close the
t h r o t t l e grip.
5. Kick the kick crank w i t h f ü l l strength t o
start the engine.
6. A f t e r the engine Starts, warm up for one
or t w o minutes. Make sure the starter jet
(choke) lever is returned t o the original
position before driving.
Starting a warm engine
1. Shift transmission into neutral.
2. T u r n the fuel petcock t o " O N " .
3. T u r n the ignition key t o t h e " \ " p o s i t i o n
and engine stop switch to " R U N " .
4. Slightly open the t h r o t t l e grip.
5. Kick the kick crank w i t h f ü l l strength t o
start the engine.
