Fuel petcock inspection and cleaning
The fuel petcock has a built-in filter t o
remove any particles before they reach the
carburetor. If the f i l t e r becomes blocked, the
fuel cannot enter the carburetor. T o prevent
this, inspection and cleaning should be done
at recommended intervals.
1. First, t u r n the petcock lever t o the
" O F F " position; then remove the filter
cup and clean the b o t t o m of the cup
w i t h solvent.
Clutch adjustment
This model has t w o clutch cable length ad-
justers and a clutch mechanism adjuster.
Cable length adjusters are used t o take up
slack f r o m cable Stretch and t o provide suf-
ficient free play for proper clutch Operation
under various operating conditions. The
clutch mechanism adjuster is used t o provide
