Fuel petcock
The fuel petcock act as a valve between the
tank and the carburetor and also filters the
fuel.
The fuel petcock has the f o l l o w i n g three
positions:
RES: This indicates reserve. If y o u run o u t
of fuel while driving, move the lever t o
this position. T h e n , f i l l the tank at the
first o p p o r t u n i t y .
O F F : W i t h the lever in this position fuel wiM
not f l o w . Return the lever t o this posi-
t i o n when the engine is not running.
O N : With the lever in this position fuel
flows t o the carburetor. Normal driv-
ing is done w i t h the lever in this Posi-
t i o n .
