F r o n t brake adjustment
The f r o n t brake lever should be so adjusted
t h a t it has a free play o f 5 ~ 8 m m (0.20 ~
0.31 in) f r o m when the brake lever is pulled
t o when the adjusting screw is just touched
the master cylinder.
1. Loosen the adjusting screw l o c k n u t at
the brake lever.
2. T u r n in the adjusting screw until it
lightly touches the master cylinder, then
t u r n it out by approx. 3/4 turns (for
proper freeplay).
3. A f t e r adjusting, tighten the locknut.
Rear brake
The rear brake pedal should be so adjusted
that it has a free play o f 13 ~ 15 m m (0.51 ~
0.59 in) f r o m when t h e brake pedal is t r o d t o
when the brake begins t o be effected.
